Flowers

                                   Flowers in Lock Down 

Roses are heavy with recent rains

Sweet with its perfume as it drains

Irises simper , preen and show off

Stately height and ruffled head

Daffodil , just a single golden pearl

The heat did not let the others unfurl

Amaryllis enjoying the clean air

Happy to be rid of the deadly smog
