Lemons are so tart
You can get them in the mart
Juicy , golden heaven
Always ready , just say when
But God help the one who sells me one
That person must be a common felon
' Do not get lemon with me , son !
You will have to answer to everyone . '
Back to the lemon , I love lemonade
Lemon tarts filled with gold , made
To entice all the Gods
Sugar filled , what are the odds
Watch as it spills its goodness
Into all our foods , the mess
Happens when too much sweet
Kills rather than make it a treat
