Fields of mustard flowers herald the spring
Climbing roses , jasmine and lavender
Bounties of cheer which colors everything
Beds of buttercups , rest for a traveler

Then the retiring violets can appear
Making the snowdrops droop in pure envy
Time is ripe for poppies to disappear
Masses of roses become more trendy

Roses come dressed in crimson and tea pink
Violets are clad in dark purple and blue
Irises ruffled , open eyes and blink
Cherry blossoms dance to remove the dew

In huge vases they bow , dance , happily sing
Light up our world with tranquility they bring
