Supine on a sofa listening

To pulsating hypnotic music

Treat on a riverside picnic


The player would devour

Tapes en mass

Expensive collection bought

With precious pocket money

Then out with the pencils

To twizzle and tape

Listen whole night in pure bliss


Later it would live in death

Long tail of kites

Streamers on fruit trees

Swiggly monsters

Part of art projects

Until no more ..... obsolete
